Hey, I remember talking to Liesel I think, And he said a booking feature would be easy to implement, and as an controller I would like to see where people are planning on flying, and as a pilot, where people are planning on controlling.
I think this would increase activity vastly if it was shown on the home page.
What does everyone else think?
This has been discussed and we’re exploring options for this. And I’m a she as you should know

It was interesting seeing the difference in the IVAO systems vs ours. They're definitely for those who just want to enjoy the hobby and relax, while we seem to be for the realism approach more times than not. And yeah, I don't believe anyone went and trolled IVAO at the booth. If so, that is highly disappointing.

He still has access to the staff forums

Is he a staff member still? Last time I checked he is in VATME.

He went up to the IVAO guys, Asked how horrible they are. They said 10/10.
SELF ADMITTED!
I think that is bagging to be honest. Please don't post something like this again.
-
I don't think bagging the other network is really something that belongs on the forums.

What's the reason for switching to Fedora/Linux anyway?

Maybe Wine would help? I think there is a tutorial out there.....

I like all SODE sceneries.

I enjoy hitting the autopilot at 300ft so I can minimise P3D and play Cities Skylines

And that discussion regarding Tristan's posting on the forums shall end here. Move it out of this thread.

Tristan please stop posting heaps of stuff on here and use the facebook. This poll is a good example of what could go on the facebook page instead of yet again posting something that could have just been put on the forums. In the past you have posted up to 15 times a day and almost all the stuff could be posted on facebook. Im not having a go at you but please stop mass posting on the forums and use the facebook as a bit of a split. https://www.facebook.com/groups/783759771713161/
Joshua this has been gone over with Tristan before and does not need to be repeated over and over. If he wants to use the Facebook, he will the Facebook. If he wants to use the forums, although maybe a bit much, he will use the forums.

I did notice navigraph and saw the price, which is why I asked here to see if there are any cheaper solutions
There is also Navdatapro from Aerosoft but they use Lufty LIDO charts. You can also find some older Jeppesen charts around the web, or even the AIP charts in some countries which essentially are the same thing.

Try Navigraph, I think they have them.

Hi All,
Tristan is part of this forum as a member of Events Staff. This post is not in relation to anything specific and it is not limited to "last night". It is also not limited to one or two people with access to this forum but a reminder to everyone to think twice before responding to something they may not agree with.
Sometimes the best response is no response. That old saying "If you don't have anything nice to say..."
We're referring to Tristan Garratt if you didn't catch on to that by the way

If this is about Tristan, let me just quickly say I had the opportunity to meet him (and his Dad) at Worldflight HQ.
He's a good kid, just has that little bit extra enthusiasm that new (and young) members occasionally exhibit. Let's not hang, draw, and quarter him just yet for that. A little tolerance on our part now could pay off in spades down the track for the community.
Agreed, he absolutely is well-intentioned. He just needs to slow down a bit in my opinion.

Apologies for the behaviour last night, it wasn't up to standard. I think last night was hopefully the last of Tristan's forum spamming.

This will not be the case. I agree with Eoin, a notification style system will be much better. Look out for further developments
