  1. Didn't doubt you for a minute Ross:thumbs: I obviously didn't have my scenery installed correctly.

Anyway what a great flight! Everybody showing the ATC the due respect and also the respect for Vatsim.

Everybody with knowledge helping pilots like me to improve their comm skills..much appreciated.

Also, these flights are great for developing IFR skills in a live environment.

See you in about six weeks guys.

    Cheers Dan

  2. Like the shots Ross, really captures the spirit of the flight..lots of thrills and quite a few spills.

Someone had a really funny name for Aix-Les-Bains but I can't remember it?

I think we had up to 9 pilots at one stage, but I think some had pooter problems, some had comm problems (why anyone still uses SB3 is beyond me:) but not by the scenery cause' it was pretty easy on the frames etc.

Anyway, Pete's Aussie Flight Sim nights are great with most being like minded pilots (barn stormers????)

  3. Hi Justin, for my two cents worth, I think your response was in fact moderate and the Forum response would have been better to just say something like "there are always cowboys in every fact of life....thankfully very few on Vatsim"... or words to that effect rather than what appears "in type" as unjustly having a go at you for making the post in the first place.

  4. Probably my ignorance but when looking at the event descriptions, e.g. the VFR Flight this evening, I want to print out the plans etc however have to print the whole screen. Is there a printer frioendly version that I am missing?

  5. I am probably stoopid, but it has taken me quite some searching to find out the new address for the Oceania server. As probably the most important piece of information for getting on-line, maybe it could be made part of the home page heading? I finally found the address on the Vatsim web site but should'nt it be clearly shown on the Vatpac home page?

PS: after speaking to some people on Teamspeak, I was advised that contrary to the Vatpac home page, the server address is actually still in a testing phase???

  6. Hi there, hope this is the correct Forum section.

I am set up for Teamspeak and am sitting in the Welcome Room.

There are currently 5 members in the VATPAC Lounge and two members showing in the Virtual VFR room.

How do I contact them so I can get registered to join Teamspeak or do I just sit in ther Lounge and wait?

I use FSInn for chat however if nobody is on FSInn, and nobody invites you to register what can one do??

PS: I am also not a newbie to Virtual VFR events, just a newbie to Teamspeak.

    Please advise.

    Dan (Bassman) (VH-DAN)

  7. Coming into this topic a bit late, but I have only recently had the same problem with no automatic updates. The common stream seems to be to ensure that your clock is the same or a bit in front of Servinfo or VATspy; so my question is does either of these programs recognise Victoria's daylight savings adjustment?

Cheers and a happy New Year and prosperous 2010 to all.
