If your going for your 182, then I would suggest grabbing the OZx series.

Plenty of airports made for that particular aircraft along with many visual reference points.

 

Also I tend to control Bankstown from time to time so keep a look out as always happy for inexperienced to come online and run circuits to help familiarize themselves in communicating with ATC

Finally online so I thought I would drop in and say hi!  While I registered some time ago I had a lot of drama getting my new simming PC delivered in working order but finally good to go I think!

 

I'm pretty new to flight sims and have no real world flight experience.  Have watched quite a few videos on youtube which got me fascinated in VATSIM and so here I am.  Started with DTG Flight School and have now progressed to installing P3Dv3.

 

I'm based in Canberra so making YSCB my home base.  Really hoping to get into the 737NGX but for now I'm starting with the A2A C182.  Actually flying on VATSIM seems so far away at this stage since I'm still crashing a bit   I think its more about learning to to deal with all the cockpit components, views and zooms as one of my crashes was caused by spending too long trying to readjust the view

 

So far I have P3Dv3, and I just bought OrbX Australia.  Keen to hear what other add ons experienced flyers would recommend.

 

Hopefully I'll get the hang of this soon and feel like I can join in without being a dager to all in the sky!
