A NOTAM will be issued by Shannon at the correct time, but yes controllers on site will have priority for the positions listed. They will not be utilised all at the same time, as each day/session will see a different TMA as the focus.

I *think* re entering the departure/arrival airports will reset the FMC... not had to do it for a while so not 100% sure.

"SYDNEY INFORMATION SIERRA EXP ILS APCH MODE 7"
What in the world is APCH Mode 7, and how does it differ from the other 6 before it, are there any more i.e. 8, 9 or 10, but most importantly how does it improve the game of flight sim by having more than 1 ILS or Visual approach mode when online?
A search of the ASA website failed to show any details of APCH MODE 7.

Make sure you load the default Cessna flight and do not start the B777 from the create a flight window. This will ensure all systems are initialised correctly before you load the B777.
You could also be suffering from the flat battery bug, that MSFS has. If you have a registered version of FSUIPC, check the extend battery option.

Furthermore, I disagree with the attitude to crticise those you are criticising for being experts. There is nothing wrong with people aiming to do the best job that they can, VATSIM offers the ultimate flightsim diehard the ability to simulate real world aviation to a tee. If you don't wish to do that, thats fair enough but your selling yourself short. The responsibility is solely on your shoulders whether or not you aim for perfection or settle with a half arsed approach. I (and others) aim for the ultimate flying experience that can be offered in this community.
Once again it seems some have forgotten that this is a GAME sold in GAME shops (not thru AsA stores) and the analistic realism factor creeps in again, and people wonder why I cringe when YSSY is the suggested destination these days.

My apologies for not making it there tonight. I was planning on providing ATC service for the departure, but RL got in the way once again, and everyone had departed by the time I got back home.

As all the members would be aware by now the VLHC has experienced some web server hiccups in the last 48 hours, associated with the change of web hosts.
I am happy to report that all is now fixed, and the forums and web pages have been redesigned. Unfortunately all previous messages and member information was lost, even after a website back up.
Members will be required to re-register, I apologise for the inconvenience caused.

Try checking the audio properties, making sure that you have set the right bit of equipment for the default voice playback etc.
Other than that, no idea at all.

Bookings in VATPAC

Why change for the sake of changing? The system we use now is good, fair and more than adequate. Just because Europe has a booking system why do we need one? Why is it, that each time the US or European regions have a new system or program, it seems to become the next best thing ever for FS, and we must have it.
Instead of this why not have VATPAC approach one of our very skilled developers (and there are a few amongst us) and see if we can have a system that VA's can broadcast their events on, and the VATPAC events staff can book slots as required for the events, incorporate this into a SI style display and hey presto we have something that suits our region.
Before Vroute was mentioned how often did people sit here and post... Gee we need a ATC/Pilot booking system??
