John i think we would all agree that Tristan's effort and professional ATC is very much worthy of a promotion to atleast a S3?

Would that be the Twr view software that is visable above the ATC consoles? or on the onsite caravan to be used for all flyin around the world?

I haven't seen such a lack of intrest in a new FS before, I like all have read the forums and FS9 still seems unbeatable at this stage,
Today i was in a shop and held it in my hand thinking do i or don't i where normally i would be the 1st in the door. After not much thought i put it back and walked out!

Agreed Dave, A few years ago now i sat in the jump seat of good old VH-ANA for a landing in ML. Very quite except for when they select Reverse.
Don't care how loud they are they have the best sound.

The A380 is reported to be back in YSSY on the 28th of November, Fying in from JNB at approx 11am. Departing 29th for Canada.
I'm sure QF will be more than happy to see it on the deck while having to wait until August 08 to get it!

I would feel much safer flying in one knowing what ever the problem is has been fixed. From what i have read the IFE is causing probs with the flight controls, Hence the wiring problem.
Then some bloody computer was in French where the others operate in English. Fair dinkum..................
Boeing are not braging as with the 787 also being completely new anything can happen as well.

It's the accent mate, To overcome this i would when talking squeeze your nose while using words like g,day crikey,mate,gunna etc:D.

It's with much pleasure that i inform all that tomorrow Steve reaches the ripe old age of 50!:eek:
I guess now Steve's flying will be limited as Bingo and cheap movie for seniors nights at hoyts now will be the go!
I am expecting some stick from him over this but by the time i get to 50 he will be very close if not flying for Angel air!

From reports the A/C was a CRJ200. I can only guess that the Co pilot had the same problem on the other side. Personally i reckon a big bloke with a run up and shoulder charge would be easier!

PC Aviator has a pre order deal with FSX bundled with lot's of good stuff. I have confirmed it is the deluxe version. Shipping approx 26th October but naturally anything can happen.

When racing down the runway calling on V1, V2 rotate always gets me a glare from other pax:eek:
