Perhaps better raised at the earliest opportunity rather than curtain call?
This was surely approved and sanctioned by people above our pay grade, and as we know the rules are interpreted by those in charge at the time.

Today ASY201 fly from Brisbane to Chennault International KCWF. Looking on GE it is a backwater with very little in the way of anything. Anyone got any hints?

Hi Joe, until you get a good response, I offer this;
Pilots are encouraged to use VATSIM weather whenever possible. Just makes things easier especially at events or busy airports.
It is possible to use non-VATSIM weather. All interactions with ATC they will assume you are using VATSIM weather, so you will need to just make a request. E.g. at any time you as the pilot need a runway or such for a safe landing then request it.
I think if a controller refuses you a clearance based on their opinion of the weather, then try another airport sadly. It does happen that a controller will say, no clearance as you are VFR, but try and negotiate with them via pm. Obviously high volume traffic and events, we just need to expect the standard.

I’ve just left the VATPAC server, so can’t see the VATSIM server being much different.

UPSET.
This morning when I launch P3Dv4 I have simlink issues AND once i launch SWIFT it sends spikes from controllers into sim. If I close SWIFT it stops, if I open SWIFT it starts again. So something has happened between controller, swift and P3Dv4.
To fly online I'll need to find another connection client, and hope it works.

Amazing, the key bindings seem to be same as FSX from what I can see. The control bindings are a little difficult, from what I see I can only select an action then try and find the axis I want to bind it too. FSUIPC I could do it the opposite way; move an axis then assign a action.
amazed to see in-app purchases fm Carenado, Orbx, plus two,others.

I like it Brendan. I usually do it similar, although I throw 122.800 onto com 2. That way on com1 I have in order of priority; ATC, CTAF, then 122.800. Com2 is almost always on 122.800 as a backup for me.

Yes. There are places you should not connect like you said.
Perhaps best procedure is to check one of the “who’s online” apps to see that there isn’t heavy traffic where you are reconnecting. Good luck.

I have placed a basic version of YBSU in Discord. It is tested in P3Dv4 only and created using ADE. It is enough to get P3Dv4 users onto the new runway. Data came from ASA.
Features; Runway 13/31, taxiways A, A1, A2, B2, J, M, F etc, Decommissioned runway, fenced off construction area.
What not to expect; professional quality or anything other than basics.

What does Alan say is going on? How can they (VATSIM) simply remove a server without discussing with VATOCE at least. They must have told Alan before this. Given that it doesn’t seem to have even been flagged in QTR meetings at any level.
