When this is fully released will it be open source? I of course am not intending to say you're untrustworthy, however having that extra safeguard would be a good idea, especially since this software shouldn't have anything in the binary that would be dangerous to release?

Even if that were the case that's 9 S2 positions, 3 S3 positions and a multitude of positions for C1. I don't understand what the intent is, there are plenty of other positions to occupy.

Our current system is already loose enough. The only times that you would need a non-standard position is if one those aforementioned people would be around. ie. Events.

The number one thing that this community needs is a leadership that will allow input from everyone in VATPAC. This dilly dallying about autocracies and dictatorships will lead to no where but dissent. The VATPAC staff team needs to show leadership and get input from everyone, I commend David for wanting to have a town hall meeting because "It's Time" for VATPAC to start listening to the community again.
Above all else, VATPAC and VATSIM as a whole wouldn't be here without the community and comments by some lead many to believe that, that priority is not seen anymore by people. So VATPAC needs to take the input of the community into account rather than forgoing them and doing whatever the hell you want. Sure, that may be how the VATSIM structure is set out, but come on people, we can be better than this, we need to go above and beyond what the VATSIM Regulations state and start listening to EVERYONE, even if you disagree with them.

This is a good point, your first argument is therefore annulled because it was outside of the staff group.
Maybe next time if you're gonna make a defence claim, get a better defence?

Yes, I believe it is active until there is a new NOTAM deactivating it and since one has not been posted, it is still active.

EDIT: Well, looks like someone thought it was a good idea to edit my post criticising members on the STAFF forum without even informing me (Newspeak anyone?). But for the record, I said that Jackson said quote: "F*** you all" with the expletive fully visible on the Facebook group. And for the person who did edit my post, maybe at least make it known that it was removed for everyone rather than just pretending like I didn't say anything?

I actually was the one to lock them all. I had direct instructions from VATOCE1 himself to perform the following action.
So all the channels are now locked, whether it be voice or text.
