Event Details:A City Pair event is where ATC Services is provided between two aerodromes for pilots to fly between. We invite you to fly between Darwin (YPDN) and Cairns (YBCS) from 0630z to 1030z as we attempt to test out our talented controlling team! Routes:We recommend using the following routes which are suitable for a jet such as an Airbus A320, Boeing 737, regional jet or business jet. YPDN-YBCS: DCT DN Y25 PALGA SOCAR J61 CS DCTYBCS-YPDN: DCT CS J61 DUMAV Q91 ALLEE Q23 DN DCT Charts: If you do not have charts, they are available here: https://vats.im/pac/charts ATC:Controllers interested in controlling the event are encouraged to submit their ATC Applications here. Applications will remain open until three days before the event (15FEB23), after which the roster will be released and available for viewing. Please keep in mind that slot availability will be dependent on the number of applications. Non-Standard positions* will be available for opening depending on traffic levels. They may only be opened once all of the Standard positions are filled. Please see a member of Staff or a C3 rated controller to be granted permission to open a non-standard position. Please review the controller NOTAM for detailed information about which Non-Standard Positions are automatically authorized.
