If you use PFPX for your flight planning, I've updated the 5Nov20 ERSA Flight Plan Routes (including Military routes) to include the latest AIP Sup updates (mainly the decommissioning of HM VOR) and converted into the PFPX route import format.
To use these in your flight planning
- unzip the file below
- open the PFPX Route Manager/Route Database and delete the old "Y" routes, or if you have previously imported one of my update files, filter the route database using ERSA_EXTRACT and delete the filtered routes
- import the unzipped file

As part of AIRAC 2012, the Fiji airspace has been updated to reflect the recent changes made by the Civil Aviation Authority of Fiji (CAAF).
A new CTA has been implemented, controlled by NFFN_CTR and the TMAs for Nadi and Nausori updated. The details are described on the VATPAC airspace and controller positions pages. VATSpy and ServInfo have also been updated to reflect the changes.

Whilst Vatsys is in an open Beta test phase we are refining the data used for the Australia and VATPAC Pacific profiles more frequently than our normal AIRAC update cycle. Any changes that also apply to VRC or Euroscope will be released in the next AIRAC update.
This topic has been created to keep Vatsys users up to date as the profile data is changed during the Open Beta.
Australia 2010 rev b- ML VOR Map updated
- WLM TMA boundary updated
- ILS IAF fixes added for ED and TN
- ML Gnd Map updated
- VFR Fixes updated
- ALL_AIRPORTS label orientation changed
Pacific 2010 rev b
- ALL_AIRPORTS and ALL_RNAV maps added
- Port Vila typo fixed
- Restricted Area Line type for RA Status of 1 reset to Dashed
- VFR Fixes added for Noumea TCU
- Removed duplicate AYPM boundary
The Restricted Areas lines have been customised to show the RA Status as published by Air Services. Further information on using this will be available when we get closer to release.
For those really keen.

Extremely sad news. My sincere condolences to his family.
I had the honour of working with Quigs in the ops department over many years and enjoyed his humour and friendship as well as his willingness to contribute to the VATPAC community both as a staff member and as a member of the community.
Rest in peace Quigs.

No need for an apology, the more members helping each other the better. Duplication is far better than nothing at all.

Updated sector files with the replacement YBSU runway and new SIDs and STARs have been prepared
As rwy 18/36 has been decommissioned, is there any pilot scenery for YBSU rwy 13/31 available?

Just to be clear they are not in use yet. Only in airline training and internal training until the new runway is commissioned. There were lots of delays in the design of the procedures for many reasons, mostly outside control of ASA
https://www.airservicesaustralia.com/aip/current/sup/a20-h33.pdf explains the arrangements in place for the continued use of Rwy 18/36 until the new runway opens

Welcome Danny, it won't take long before you have it all working. I don't use xpilot, but from the user guide
QuoteWhen you connect to VATSIM, all controllers within range will be displayed in the controller list on the left side of the main xPilot window. Each controller entry will have the controller's callsign and primary frequency. If you hover your mouse over a controller entry, a popup label will appear with the controller's name.
You can use a program like VATSpy to see where ATC is currently active and give it a try. Here is a list of all our Controller Positions, although you won't really need it with xpilot.

Rather than create sub-sectors, we could create a non standard position BN-TSO_FSS to handle all outbound traffic. It would have the full coverage of TSN. We would need another frequency and an update to the AFV Transceivers. In Euroscope both would have the same airspace highlighted and would select traffic based on direction.

Due to a small error in the Euroscope Package AIRAC2005, where the Albury TMA profile defaulted to Observer in the connect dialogue rather than Tower, I have released an updated Euroscope Package Installer for those that don't use the Controller Client Updater. The sector files are exactly the same as 2005.
I have also released a new version of the Controller Client updater to fix a bug in where it didn't update the Euroscope Package TAAATSMod location from the default of
C:\Program Files (x86)\CsernakGergely\EuroScope\TAAATSMod.dll
for the new profiles (Procedural and Marshall Islands) included in AIRAC2005. This only affected those who have Euroscope3.1d installed in a different location.
The next time the Controller Client Updater checks for updates you will be offered the program update as well as an update of the Euroscope Package (if you have it installed). Apart from the Albury TMA profile fix, I had to issue a new Euroscope Package so that the TAAATSMod location would be correctly updated.
-
If you use the VATPAC Euroscope Package you can quickly update the default VATSIM server used:
- just run the VATPAC Profile Updater (Under VATPAC in the Windows start menu),
- select the server you want to use and all your profiles will be updated. There is no need to re-enter your login details if these haven't changed.

Found the problem. The default display options used by the Client Updater selects the Closed Airport LL's display option for the TMA display category when it should be unselected.
This option should always be unselected for a TMA display category as a TMA profile is used to control a procedural Tower so by definition it will be open when the display option is in use.
For procedural towers the airspace lower levels change when the Tower is open or closed and in some cases this also affects the Enroute airpace levels. The Closed Airport LL option is normally only selected for an Enroute display category with the controller manually updating the Euroscope Freetext settings if a procedural tower with OPEN LL's available becomes active.
I'll fix the default display options and issue an update tomorrow, but you can just unselect the Closed Airport LL option for the TMA category and update your asr files and your selections will be saved. The default are only used when you haven't made any changes or to reset display options.
The Euroscope Package, as distributed, was not affected by this.
-
Thanks, I've been able to replicate it. It only happens after you use the display options and update the asr files. I suspect its related to the changes I made for procedural towers.
I have to go out now so will get back to you later today.
