Moodle TMA Training Module - Now available!

I am pleased to advise that the first stage of the TMA training module is now available to all VATPAC members. This stage provides updated TMA controller competencies and a detailed study guide providing all the information & references required for the TMA rating. The next stage, theory & simulator-based assessment will be made available early in 2009.

 

The module can be accessed through Moodle, VATPAC's online training system. As with the Tower module, the TMA module also doubles as ideal refresher training for current TMA controllers.

 

Moodle guides students through each step of the training & assessment process; from understanding the assessment competencies to explaining key aviation concepts and providing small research tasks & further reading to help students consolidate their learning. Training materials include diagrams, links to real world documentation and audio & video samples.

 

All training courses are freely available to VATPAC members and we encourage you to use Moodle as your first point of reference for Tower & TMA information.
