Hi Folks,

 

We are now inviting applications from people interested in taking on the Deputy Director of Division role. Applications will be considered by a panel comprising of staff and members. Here are the details:

 

VATPAC2 - Deputy Director of Division

 

The Deputy Director of Division (DDD) is responsible for monitoring and supporting the day to day needs of the division. The DDD reports to the Division Director and liaises with other Directors, providing project support as required.

 

Specific Duties:

 

1. Monitor the day to day progress of assigned projects

2. Manage the 6-monthly operations cycle (e.g. sector file delivery)

3. Review all forum moderation actions and enforce policy

4. Investigate new opportunities

5. Participate in staff discussions and decision making

 

The successful candidate will:

 

1. Have an in depth understanding of contemporary VATPAC/VATSIM issues

2. Be experienced in the management of clubs, groups or online organisations

3. Posses strong communication skills

4. Be a member of VATPAC

5. Be in good standing with VATSIM
