It's that time of year again folks, World Flight. Over the years World Flight has become one of VATPAC/VATSIM's premier events, not only because we travel through everyone's backyard and into some of the most interesting places on the planet, but more importantly because we do it in support of the Royal Flying Doctor Service.

 

World Flight is the ultimate event for many reasons - we offer great medium-haul flying experiences with the guarantee of full ATC along the way. In addition, this year home-flyers will be able to take advantage of breifing packages and full flight planning services for each leg. We will also be offering a custom-built live ACARS network to allow you to interact with 'World Flight Company' and, for the first time, ATC! ATC COMM including position reporting, PDC, requests etc will be optionally supported.

 

Over the next week the "PR Machine" will start to wind up as we approach our departure date of:

 

Monday, 6th November - 1100 AEDT

 

This year we are lucky to have three new fixed-base simulators + crews join us brining our total to five sims.
