Rob H - 811428 Posted March 23, 2006 Share Posted March 23, 2006 As an adjunct to the recent minutes, some changes have taken place to complete a long-standing reshuffle in the administration of the Training department. Roland Collins and Andrew Carr have switched roles: Andrew becoming the Director of Training and Roland the Deputy Director of Training. The Deputy Director of Training position has also had its vote removed. Background: Roland remained as the 'effective' Training Director over an extended period of time while continuing to provide and maintain the VATPAC Training Database and prepare others to take over this responsibility. The creation of a fully-voting Deputy Director of Training in 2003 was a preliminary step in this process. In recent times the training function has been transferred to a web-based system under the administration of a Training Admin team rather than a single person in order to provide better services to VATPAC members.
