Tracy S - 848725 Posted January 17, 2015 Share Posted January 17, 2015 The following configuration changes have been implemented on our Teamspeak server: 1) The Lounge: This room has been retired. Instead, 3 chat rooms are now available for general chat purposes. 2) ATC room: Due to a torrent of complaints about this room being used for general chat and interfering with ATC operations, the rules on the use of this room now apply (in order to make it more like the old VSCS function for those who remember): i) This room is only to be used by members who are logged on to the VATSIM network in VATPAC airspace as an active controller. ii) Members must be logged on to the VATSIM network prior to joining the ATC room on Teamspeak. iii) Members who are in the ATC room must endeavour, as much as operationally possible, to not place themselves on mute. iv) Breaches of the rules may result in immediate action by VATPAC staff. Possible actions may include a warning, removal from the ATC channel, temporary bans from the VATPAC Teamspeak server for periods ranging between 24 hours and 7 days, or any combination of these actions. 3) Idle time: The idle threshold before the server automatically disconnects you session has been reduced to 30 minutes.
