In recognition of this, the Board of Governors arranged prizes for each region to be given out as they saw fit. The Board has decided to award several outstanding members for their ongoing contributions. We believe these members best embody the VATPAC/VATSIM values because they are Professional, Tolerant, Polite, Regularly Attend Events, Act in the best interest of the network and are Great Role Models. The VATPAC Board congratulates the following three members for their ongoing support and thanks the Board of Governors for the opportunity to reward them for their outstanding efforts. 1st Prize: Andrew Harle, for his ongoing support of events, professional attitude and high tolerance level when dealing with newbies. Andrew sets a sterling example of how ATC should behave online. His interactions online have nurtured many new pilots during difficult periods. (Andrew receives first choice from three great prizes) 2nd Prize: Trent Hopkinson, for his ongoing support of events, professional attitude and promotion of VATSIM with his inspirational videos. (Trent receives a choice from the remaining two prizes) 3rd Prize: Lionel Rockman, for his ongoing support of VATPAC, QVA & Compass Events, his pleasant manner and for always making it fun to fly with him! (Lionel will receive the remaining prize) Congratulations to these gentlemen and a huge thank you from VATSIM & VATPAC Staff and the VATPAC membership for the amazing effort you have all put into VATSIM & VATPAC over the years. We would also like to extend a huge thank you to the members who haven't been mentioned here. Your flying and controlling are what make up our network and without you all, we couldn't have the experience that we have today.
