Hi all, Over the past few hours you may have experienced some outages on our main web-server. We are transferring to a different server within the hosting company to fix those pesky 505 errors that have been cropping up. Everything should be back up and running within 12 hours. Note: This is not affecting the VATSIM AUSTRALIA server. I'll update you when everything is all stable.

Hi all, Unfortunately, due to some issues with our server that appear to be out of our control, ATC assist and some other website features are not working. I'll make another post but Sean, I've added a little tool to the calendar to allow you to select a timezone. You'll be happy to know the default timezone is AEST

It is 0400UTC. As Greg mentioned, there are some underlying issues with php resulting it being unable to convert timezones and know the correct timezones properly. I'm working on a fix, however my ATPL exam and university assignments have a priority for the next few days.

Hi All, As you will (hopefully) see, the forums have had a slight upgrade to the look. Major improvements are: - Theme in-line with current main VATPAC site - No more silly extra clicks to reply to a thread - Fixed a permissions issue which didn't allow users to reply to threads other than theirs - Activated user avatars - A few more than you will notice as you continue to use the forums The only way I can fix things that are broken is if people bring the problems them to my attention. Steve has been contributing to the VATPAC staff team since roughly 2009. Over his time he's spent many hours looking after VATPAC events and IT. Steve now has now had to move on to real-world jobs in IT and has been unable to find the time in recent months to continue helping us at VATPAC. We are sad to see him go! He will be resigning from the position of Deputy Director IT. Please join me in thanking Browny for his time over the last few years and wish him luck! Cheers mate!

Dear all, Due to certain circumstances, we've had to change our domain provider for VATPAC.ORG. The new company has advised me that the process will take 5-7 days. We should not expect any problems during the changeover, however, as is always with technology, I'm taking no chances. Once I have a confirmation of the transfer being completed, I'll post another update. Please note. This will not affect access to Teamspeak or the Oceania VATSIM Server.
