Just went through stuff and i have a 2004 ERSA and November 2004 Melbourne VNC. First pm will get them. A 3kg satchel should do the trick. :-)

Yeah he was very annoying, i was on BIK when he called me at FL800 requesting re-entry into our virtual atomoshere. While i was scratching my head trying to find a SUP he decided to track straight to sydney and into andrews airspace :mad: when he looked like he was gonna land he started climbing again, Rockets can do that!?! :confused: I couldnt help but laugh :rolleyes:

Its only on the VOZ pier i think, they have the lights that change colour to guide you into the bay

Hey Steve,

VOZ 1.1 has ymml scenery which is almost perfect, right down to the custom taxiway signs and gate docking guidance system i think the standalone scenery is called 'YMML upgrade Phase 1' or something like that.

I did two flights last night. I went into Essendon VFR from Shepparton, all went well except having to remind everyone im VFR a couple of times Then later in the evening i did a milk run in a BBJ, despite almost having a mid air collision with a 763 :eek: , QF490 i think, it was lots of fun, David+J.K. did a good job keeping us sequenced A very good night

There is a neat little utillity called ATISMaker http://www.metacraft.com/atismaker. It allows you to set an atis and it automatically updates when the metar changes. It takes a bit of mucking around to set up but it is really helpfull once you get it going.

When i override another controller to communicate i have found that i can hear the controller fine, yet the controller on the end cant hear me :confused: But when a controller overrides me we can talk perfect.:confused: :confused: I have forwarded the correct port through my router. Does anyone have any idea whats going on???

Oh ok, i was under the impression that it had its own melbourne cbd scenery. I allready had M&S installed before VOZ.

I have found a very good scenery for melbourne Melbourne & Surroundings 3 has most of the VFR approach points for essendon and morrabbin and adds acurately places buildings to the main CBD. Plus it changes numerous other things that are not right. It also works fine with VOZ. :cool:

I do agree with you Luke and Roland, it's just something different thats all. Anyway i brought this up becuase recently my dad and i flew into Temora for their airshow and they had a UNICOM "Museum Ops" operating there and it was helpfull to be told where some of the traffic was and how to join the circut becuase there were warbirds doing displays as we flew in. Anyway any GA night-im open, ill pull the old archer out the hangar and take her for a blast!

I ment if there are ever flyin's to an uncontrolled aiport i.e.Ayers Rock, Wagga Wagga etc. etc. then there could be a CA/GRS. A CA/GRS is a radio operator that just provides information to the aircraft on the frequency, he does not control the aircraft.

A suggestion if VATPAC ever get GA nights up and running weekly into uncontrolled airports could be to have a controller online as a Cetified Air/Ground Radio Service :rolleyes: This could attract more pilots and also make it alot safer when flying at busy uncontrolled GA airfields.

 

Anyway just a suggestion!!

Hi everyone just let you know that you can purchase ch yoke and pedals from Gee Bees aerospace shop at Essendon Airport (Well they had em last time i was there )
