Yeah go with netspace,
don't have to pay a thing to switch from Telstra. I started off going from a 1GB plan 512/128 at Telstra to a 8GB same speed plan with netspace for $5 less and now, after about 4 months I have an extra 24GB of downloads every month for no price increase. No technical dramas either in that time.

Hi Guys,
I have only been doing this for a short time and having lots of fun. On several occasions I have been informed by ATC that my squawk code is displaying as 0000 instead of the asigned (and set) code. This is also evident when I check my own entry in ServInfo.
Is there something I'm doing wrong? Is this a common issue or is there some trick I am unaware of?
Thanks in advance

Hi Guys,
Thanks for your help. I figured out my problem and had my first flight last night...was cool!
Now that I have some understanding having done it before I can enjoy some of the other resources around the site.
Does anyone else have trouble seeing the navigation menu's on the VATPAC site? I am navigating via the sitemap at the moment cos I can't see any of the grphical menus.

Also,
When I try to run SBHost from the module inside the simulator (FS2002std in Win XP Pro) I connect to my session and the EXE (Squawkbox that is) crashes every time, instead of going back into the sim to find the SBHost window.
Any ideas?

Hi,
As you can tell I'm very new to all this. I am trying to come to grips with how all the essential software works for online flying, but I can't find a link to the Squawkbox manual that actually works.
Can someone please post me a link or the manual here?
Ta!

Squawk codes not transmitting
in Pilot Clients and Utilities

Hi Guys,
Thanks for the suggestions. Sean and Dean, when I notice (or ATC notices) this problem I have been asked to check the squawk standby setting and have actually cycled the xponder settings and standby setting in squawkbox for no result.
I will try setting transponder code usinf dot commands next time I fly but I suspect it is a problem with my aquawkbox not transmitting mode C.
One thing I noticed having just completed a flight....
I followed another aircraft out of Launceston for Melbourne and found that shortly after takeoff, the other aircraft dissappeared from my MP session. Then as I neared Melbourne approach he rejoined, but I know from watching servinfo during the flight that the other aircraft was always there about 10-15 miles in front of me. Is this normal when the searation increases between aircraft?
The reason I ask is that ATC advised me that my squawk code started working when I was on final to Melbourne which is about the same time I began to see the aircraft on the taxiway ahead of me.
Sorry, this turned into a long post.
