  1. I cant even get the python plugin to show, so I suspect that is the problem off the top.

D:\Steam/steamapps/common/X-Plane 11/Resources/plugins/PythonInterface/win.xpl : Error Code = 126 : The specified module could not be found.

going to try to redo the python interface but thats what is giving me most of the problem

  2. Trying to find the best way to do this, but the recommended option of using the NOAA plugin doesn't seem to work because I cant seem to get Sandy's python plugin to work. If someone has an easier way or can help me with getting the NOAA plugin working , I'd be much appreciated.

  3. Good day everyone! I would like to introduce myself as a new member of the community.

I am Bryan Bartlett, living south of Brisbane, Australia, and have 0 experience with aviation, but I am willing to learn.

Finding this community was a bit of a travel in its own right.  I have never done flight simulators before, and got interested watching a certain YouTuber. As much as his videos were mostly about trolling or messing with others, what I did take out of it was that there was a community out there actually trying to be realistic in displaying both pilots and ATC, and I thought.. that is awesome. I think I would like to be a part of that.

Downloaded FSX, went looking around, and found the community this YouTuber was a part of, to find out that, hey.. that guy hasn't spoken to them in 3 years and his videos were really not what Flight Sims should be about. They welcomed me to stay and recommended I switch to X-Plane 11 instead. Ok, managed to get Steam to give me a refund, put it to XP11.. and went through the tutorials, try to teach myself how the simple Seahawk worked.

Then I was getting annoyed with the seemingly nonsensical taxi instructions the built in ATC was giving me to taxi at the Archerfield Airport. I mean, the directions seemed to be having me travel up a grass landing strip, to turn around at the top and come all the way back down on a parallel landing strip, to get to a runway that my initial position was right next to and all I needed to do was actually taxi forward on the paved part instead of the grass.

Asked for help in the discord community I had found, and was told.. yea, the ATC sucks, here you should really look at VATSIM.

So I looked, and was sold on the idea that the community actually offers training modules for those wanting to learn. That is amazing.  I've just finished the P1 part, got 80% on the exam, and look foward to starting on the P2 part.

Anyway, me in a nutshell. Hope to see you all around in the skies, and if you see me, treat me gentle, I am a noob :D
