It is that time of the month again! VATPAC invites you to attend the next instalment of Milk Run Monday! This week we are heading to Western Australia!
Fly between Perth International Airport (YPPH) and Broome International Airport (YBRM) between 0730z - 1130z with the expectation of full ATC services throughout the event!
Traffic for these events tends to build at around 6 PM AEDT and tends to peak from 8-9 PM AEDT. ATC Positions will be scarce! Float around the discord if you are available to control and we may even open some Non-Standard ENR & TMA Splits for you all to enjoy!

Expect full ATC Coverage between 0800z and 1200z, as we attempt to fill the MDE and DOS airspace with as many aircraft as possible!Routes:

In collaboration with PCF and the Indonesia VACC, VATPAC is pleased to delighted to invite you to the Guam -> Darwin Shuttle! Fly from Guam to Darwin with full ATC from 2000z on the 21st of November 2020, until 0400z on the 22nd of November 2020!
What is a 'Shuttle' Event?
A shuttle event is where we invite pilots and controllers to fly from the defined departure airport, to the defined arrival airport with the expectation of full ATC along the way! On this occasion, we have teamed up with PCF in order to provide you with an international event!We invite you to depart from Guam International Airport (PGUM) between 2000z and 2200z on the 21st of November 2020, inbound to Darwin International Airport (YPDN), as we attempt to test out our talented controlling team! Below you will find the recommended route between the two airfields, as well as information for your departure and arrival!
Route:
VATPAC, PCF and Indonesia VACC recommend the following route when flying between Guam and Darwin.PGUM -> YPDN:

Departure From Guam:
Pilots departing from Guam International Airport (PGUM), can expect to depart from either runways 06L/R or runways 24L/R, depending on wind direction and traffic levels. Pilots are to expect radar vectors after departure towards the UNZ TACAN, or a waypoint on their route that is nearby.Arrival Into Darwin:
Upon Arrival into Darwin International Airport (YPDN), pilots can expect the DONYA7(A/U) followed by a choice of VOR, NDB, ILS, RNAV or Visual approach (Weather Permitting) into either runway 11 or 29. ATC will assign the approach type nominated in the ATIS but you may request a different approach type if you are up for the challenge. ATC will be provided at Darwin between 0100z and 0400z.We ask that you are familiar with the approach type you select. If you are unfamiliar with these operations you can request vectors from the Approach controller to ensure you capture the localiser.

East Coast Connect is a new event that offers two different types of events every four weeks. Running every second Saturday, the first round is a connection between Brisbane, Sydney and the Gold Coast. In the second round, we connect Brisbane & Cairns!Pilots can expect ATC to be online between the nominated airfields from 0800z - 1200z!
ATC can expect to apply their sequencing skills to generate a pleasant flow of traffic between the nominated airfields.
East Coast Connect occurs every second Saturday. In the event a major event occurs on the same day, East Coast Connect will not run. Keep an eye out on the VATPAC Event Announcements for future renditions of this event!

The VATPAC Events Department is proud to announce another edition of one of our most popular events - Panic Stations! Whether you fly a C172, B737 or A330, if you enjoy being on time, every time, then this is the event for you!
Once again, we are putting an exciting twist on the usual event, by hosting it in a procedural environment, with two touchdown times and prizes to be won!!!! Take a scenic flight up to Alice Springs (YBAS) with an expectation to have full ATC services between 0900z and 1200z!
Event Details:
Panic Stations is a simple yet challenging event. Get as many aircraft flying to the destination as possible, with only one objective: Arrive at or after the target times, to enjoy bragging rights... Until the next panic stations event that is!
VATPAC is putting another spin on this event. Unlike last time, there will be two target arrival times and prizes for the winner of each time!!
Touch Down Times for this event are 1000z & 1100z
We recommend that pilots bring extra holding fuel for this event, as we attempt to accommodate all pilots, whilst controllers attempt to maintain a larger separation standard than usual!
We look forward to seeing you all on the tarmac at Alice Springs!
Prizes:
To add yet another exciting twist to this event, the VATPAC Events team has been in contact with ORBX and are extremely happy to announce that ORBX will be providing three prizes for this event!For Pilots: Two prizes will be on offer. To win an award, you must be the aircraft to arrive (touch down) at or just after the target arrival time. Each touchdown time has one prize that will be awarded.
For Controllers: The controller who receives the most positive feedback from the community will receive the third prize! Feel free to plug https://feedback.vatpac.org/ to the pilots transitioning your airspace!!! (Make sure to select Events Department as the Department you are writing too!)

Hello everyone, i am experiencing difficulties with the active runway selector dialog box, in which i select the runways correctly at any aerodrome, and then click ok, and the runways magically deselect themselves XD. (The left hand side selectors)
I dont really know what has happened, i was hoping that someone could help.
I have ES version 3.1d, so that the 1909 TAATS mod works.
