Perhaps not a great thought, but a simple one:
In refernce to the unspecified tickets, could they perhaps be thrown into a public pool, and be answered by any of the staff team? Obviously common sense is required, and you must be qualified to answer a question...ie, I am not going to answer a ticket on IT, but a general discord enquiry, sure!

Welcome to the Events Team @Chris Gardiner!

Welcome to one of VATPAC's rare event types! A "return" event allows our pilots to fly two sectors, between two relatively close airfields! In this rendition, we will be flying out of Darwin to Denpasar and back, between the hours of 0800z to 1400z on the 28th of August 2021. This will allow pilots to get a feel of flying a return flight while testing our controllers' skills with two flows of traffic!
Departure Information
Departures out of Darwin will be expected to fly the JULIE5 departure off of the chosen runway at Darwin, departing at roughly 0800z. Alternatively, pilots may request the DN5 departure, however this should only be used if absolutely necessary. Pilots are advised that extra fuel may be required for both ground and air holding.Departures out of Denpasar will be expected to fly the ANGSA3A departure off of the chosen runway. Pilots may also request radar vectors, should they require them, for operational purposes. Again, pilots are advised that extra fuel may be required for both ground and air holding.
Routes
VATPAC recommends the following routes for this event:
YPDN > WADD: JULIE UQ320 VIROB UQ200 KILIK A458 KPG W33 GOMAT ANGSAWADD > YPDN: ANGSA GOMAT W33 KPG A458 KILIK UY85 CURLY UY91 DONYA
ATC Information
Any controllers interested in providing ATC services during this event are encouraged to apply here. Applications will be open until Monday the 25th of August, on which the roster will be released for public viewing.Non-Standard positions are denoted with an (*) beside the callsign and will only be opened if sufficient controller applications are received. Please see a member of the Board of Directors, or a C3 rated controller to be granted permission to open a non-standard position on the day.

Welcome to the next rendition from the Light Up series, Light up Western Australia! It is time to pull out those regional aircraft or commercial airliners and explore Australia's largest state, as we attempt to provide the most realistic ATC services for you as you travel to the many stunning destinations that Western Australia has to offer.
From the bustling city of Perth to the beauty of the Kimberly, Western Australia is a spectacle of natural wonder! What is Light Up Western Australia?
This event revolves around one of our older events (Regionals and Twins) with the idea being to provide ATC services to more regional locations around the country. Our regional towns don't get the love like the big cities do, so let's change that! Travel to those often-forgotten destinations and provide controllers and pilots alike a different challenge—a chance to fly into an unfamiliar location and try an approach other than the usual ILS approach.During this event, you will receive an Outside Control Airspace Service at most of our airfields from the overlying ENR Controller. Pilots can expect the following service types depending on the class of airspace.
Suggested Major Routes:
Western Australia has so much to offer and explore! Whether your flight is high or low, fast or slow, there are plenty of routes to fly. Find some of our suggested routes below, bearing in mind that Pilots are more than welcome to fly other routes from other destinations!Charts for all airports can be found here.

Hello Everyone,
This post is being provided to the members of VATSIM Australia Pacific in order to provide notice of the conclusion of East Coast Connect. This fortnightly event was introduced to VATPAC just three months ago.
East Coast Connect has provided a great stepping stone for "Milk Run Monday", one of our most favoured events, as it has allowed us to develop a brilliant rostering technique which is fairer for all controllers within the division!
This event is being terminated due to an overall lack of pilot interest. If you have any feedback about how this event was conducted or recommendations for future events, then please email [email protected].
Questions about the termination of this event can be directed to myself at [email protected]
Thank You Everyone,

Hi there.
I've been thinking about something to do, together as a staff team, to welcome the new year.
I have seen a staff staff-up proposed in some forums (Cant remember if it was in senior or this one), and frankly love the idea.
Would anyone be interested in participating some time soon after the new year?
It does not have to be official, it does not have to be announced, it can be just like a group of friends logging on together. If we want guaranteed traffic, then we will want to announce it.
The general members can get involved if they like, however I think it would be nice for the staff to get guaranteed places.
Would anyone like to propose a time/place and any other ideas on how we can do this?
Cheers!
Cameron Wilbraham

Thank you Josh, Thank you everyone!
I am truly heartbroken to have had to make this decision. The events department has been mine and Josh's little baby for over a year now. I have absolutely loved working with the team that we have built, in addition to some of the long standing members of the team!
I was always going to be a long shot, I know that, Josh knows that, you all probably knew it! A Brit, living in Britain, being a senior staff member in the Australian division of this big network that we call home. I have lasted a lot longer than I thought I would, ill be honest, however, the time has now come. My work life, education life, and personal life, unfortunately must take priority, meaning I must leave the demanding role that the Events Manager position is.
I am extremely grateful for all of the opportunities that working in VATPAC has given me. However, I am 100 times more grateful for being able to work with my best friend, even if he is over 16000 k's away.
I will not forget this part of my life, not one moment...
All the best,
Cam -
