Just some sincere thanks for all the ATC pros who made this such a terrific event for IFR noobs like me. Really enjoyed it and can't wait for the next flight/event.

Finally, a "First Wings" I can probably get to. Hopefully work won't be to hectic and I can get a couple of practice flights in, I haven't been in an airliner for a long time.

David, This is a great track, more so because the Tambar Springs strip is on my Mum and Grandfather’s property, “Moonaree”. My grandfather flew Wirraways in the war. He told me he got dispensation to land at the house paddock (not where the strip is) but just in the paddock near the homestead, on his way up North somewhere. The Wirraway almost clipped the fence on departure. He laughed, said he was being a bit cocky and almost stuffed it. Lambrook belongs to family friends, good friends of my grandfather’s. I went to Reno a few years back to watch a mate Lachie Onslow race there and William who now owns Lambrook, and flys out of Lambrook went over to Reno too. William’s mother used to fly I think a Baron from their strip back in the day. Well done for organising, my mother was stoked and will get her to fly, virtually, with me on Sunday. I took Mum up and flew a 172 over here a few months ago out of YBTH. Thanks, Scottie

If you're running X_plane and want some ortho files, I have the files I used when I did the route for my first leg of my world trip http://btfg.space/Ortho4XP/Milkrun/Milkrun Brisbane_Rockhampton.rar it uses zoom 13 for water tiles, zoom 14 for general and zoom 15 around airports. a good zoom level to balance quality and size. Download is 1.4 GiB and contains each tile on the routes

Hi Dave Great event mate and thanks for all the work you do in organising these. Much appreciated. You certainly called it better on rwy36 coming into Narrogin.. Landing on rwy28 really tested my cross wind landing skills !! Thanks again Jason

Unfortunately I was away for Easter and missed this flight. Feel free to join any of the VFR Ops events. The next few will be quite relaxed with easy navigation and some spectacular scenery.

Absolutely we'd like ATC on if anyone is keen. Each state tends to get a turn every 5-6 weeks. Tasmania a little less often as there aren't as many options.

Great to see South Australia getting some love! I worked at YPPF as an instructor would love to get online and provide some ATC if you'd like, it would be my pleasure. Reach out here or on discord if this is something you'd be interested in!

You are the second person Ive spoken to who is keen to get on Alice for the event... and I myself am in that same category! Hmm. Event Coordinators, perhaps this is an indication that a few more fly-ins to procedural tower locations is in order?

This event starts at 0939z and runs until around 1130z. However you will find ATC online well before this time I have also fixed the timing on this event so it should show in your local time zone.
