South-east Radar
This group covers the airspace surrounding Sydney, Canberra, and Melbourne, as well as the airspace joining these cities. The en route corridors consist of Class A CTA from FL180 to FL600, underlain by Class C CTA from FL125 and Class E CTA from 8500 FT.
Around the capital city airports, Class C CTA exists in cylindrical steps ("upside-down wedding cake") and a Class C CTR exists over the airport. Capital city general aviation airports are overlain by Class D CTR which may vertically adjoin the Class C CTA.
Class C CTA steps underlain by Class D CTA steps are established around Albury. A Class D CTR is present over the airport.
South-east Regional
The corridor between Melbourne, Launceston and Hobart consists of Class A CTA between FL180 to FL600 and is underlain by Class E CTA between FL125 to FL180. Over Tasmania, Class C CTA steps down from FL125 in irregular steps and cylindrical steps around Hobart and Launceston. This is underlain by Class D CTA and a Class D CTR exists over each of the airports.
Papua New Guinea
Alphabet airspace classification is not used for much of the airspace within the Port Moresby FIR.
The upper airspace consists of Class A UTA from FL245 to FL460.
Around Port Moresby, CTA exists in steps from 9,000 FT to FL245. TMA exists from 1,500 FT to 15,000 FT.
New Caledonia
New Caledonia is situated in the New Caledonia Sector of the Nadi FIR. Class A OCA exists from FL195 to FL600. Class D OCA exists from 9,500 FT to the base of Class A.
Within 120 NM of Noumea, Class A TMA exists from FL195 to FL245. This is underlain by Class D TMA and the airport is capped by a Class D CTZ. Tontoua Approach provides a procedural approach service within this Class A and D TMA airspace while Tontoua Tower provides control services within the Class D CTZ.
Marshall Islands
Bucholz is the only controlled airport in the Marshall Islands. The en route airspace consists of Class A OCA from FL245 to FL600. Around Bucholz, Class E airspace exists from the surface in a sector 5.2nm West and 9.6nm East of Bucholz, from 700 FT within a 12nm radius of Bucholz and from 1,200 FT to FL 240 within a 100nm radius. Class D airspace exists from surface to 2,500 FT, both are covered by radar surveillance.

North-east Radar
This group covers the airspace north of Sydney, connecting major regional cities of Rockhampton, Mackay, Hamilton Island, Townsville and Cairns. The en route corridor consists of Class A CTA from FL180 to FL600, underlain by Class E CTA from 8500 FT.
Around Brisbane, Townsville and Cairns airports, Class C CTA exists in steps and a Class C CTR exists over the airport. Archerfield Airport in Brisbane is supported by a Class D CTR vertically adjoining Class C CTA.
Around Rockhampton, Mackay and Hamilton Island, Class C CTA exists in steps underlain by Class D CTA. A Class D CTR exists over the airports.
Non-Radar
This group covers the remaining airspace over continental Australia. This airspace mostly consists of Class A CTA from FL245 to FL600 underlain by Class E CTA from FL125 to FL245.
Around Adelaide, Perth and Darwin, Class A exists down to FL180, Class C CTA exists in cylindrical steps down from FL180. Over the airport, a Class C CTR is established. Jandakot and Parafield are supported by a Class D CTR.
Around Alice Springs, Class C CTA steps down in cylinders from FL180. Class D CTA exists below Class C. A Class D CTR exists over the airport.
At Karratha and Broome, Class E CTA steps down from FL180 to 1200 FT AGL. Class D CTA steps down from 5500FT and the airports are supported by Class D CTR.
Oceanic
This group exists west, south and east of continental Australia and also covers the Nauru and Honiara FIRs. Class A OCA exists from FL245 to FL600.
Fiji
Fiji is situated within the Nadi Oceanic FIR which consists of Class A Oceanic Airspace (OCA) above FL200 with Class D OCA between A095 and the base of Class A OCA.
The Nadi CTA (NFFN_CTR) consists of Class A airspace above FL200 and Class C between A065 and FL200. Within the Nadi CTA, the Nadi and Nausori TMAs consist of Class C airspace up to FL250. Nadi Approach (NFFN_APP) controls both the Nadi and Nausori TMA airspace, if NFNA_APP is not active. Class C services are provided by a network of ADSB sites.
Vanuatu
Vanuatu is situated within the Port Vila Sector of the Nadi FIR. The en route airspace consists of Class A OCA from FL245 to FL600. Class D OCA exists from A095 to FL245 where a procedural control service is provided by NVVV_CTR (Port Vila Control).
