I don't think this is necessary, this creates a hostile attitude from IVAO, we shouldn't meddle in their affairs as they don't in ours. Their sectors are theirs and are not there for other networks to bash on. We both have the same wants; the want for a fun and realistic online aviation network.

Im not usually a fan of these kinds of comments, its a poor reflection on us as a organisation. FWIW this general forum is public also.

In my time at VATPAC we have had 3 revisions of sector shapes and designs, it comes with need as traffic increases the need to reduce sector sizes to better serve the pilots.

Up intill our last sector review, several of our own sectors were made up also and designed for the traffic levels in those areas.

There are some things that IVAO do better than us, for instance their flight plans are in ICAO format not FAA, something that VATSIM doesn't seem to want to move away from.

If that doesn't raise your respect level for VATPAC AIS Teams past and present a couple of notches, nothing will.

I don't know how many people have seen the IVAO FIR's in Australia but I just saw them and oh my god.

It hurts my brain.

Hi Guys,

I think a copy button is probably not the best solution, but may be the only viable option,
For the Atis text (CTRL + A) wont work due to the Atis maker unfortunately being an Iframe,
Myself and Eoin attempted to integrate the Atis Maker directly into the site but It's just simply not possible without a redesign,

I can't seem to figure why your page won't load Eoin, must be your internet or a local issue on your end,

Cheers

Browsers or web sites Greg?

I can R click & copy on most but not in some frames of some sites.  eg: You can't L click select anything inside the Message Icon drop down box but a CTL+A will give you most of the page including the message box.

I'ts curious that, if my cursor is focused inside THIS box I can CTL+A all the text but in the ATIS generator CTL+A selects the entire frame.

However, since I can copy the ATIS text, cumbersome though I may find it, I shall cease complaining until one of our coding gurus finds a solution!

Keep up the good work gentlemen and THANK YOU!!!!
