From here, you can track via the VFR route to Mullaloo Point or try to get into the Perth control zone for a touch and go at Perth. Remember that you can go up to, but not above, the altitude shown on the VTC (e.g. "C LL 2000" means you can go up to 2000FT without clearance). Change your transponder to 1200 and continue to monitor 123.6. Once we get to Mullaloo Point, we'll turn around and head southbound, making sure we stay on the right of the coastline. At Powerhouse, we call Jandakot Tower to get back in. Don't forget to set your transponder to 3000 for Class D!

Hi all,
Let's pop over to South Africa on Sunday to help our newest candidate Oliver Hayes earn his C1 rating with his examination taking place live on the network.
The CPT will take place on "Cape Town Area" FACA_CTR, which covers the entire Cape Town FIR. We can also expect Johannesburg Area (FAJA_CTR) to be online to make sure the entire country benefits from top-down ATC.
Australian times for the event are: EST Monday Midnight-02.00, CST 23.30-01.30, WST 22.00-Midnight.

I hope to see you there!

Some good IFR routes all with plenty of airline services are:
~1h30m, FAOR-FACT, RAGUL UQ10 CSV UZ26 ERDAS; FACT-FAOR, TETAN UZ2 NIBEX
~45m, FAPE-FACT, OKRAV UQ49 ESRUK UQ51 GETEN; FACT-FAPE, OKTED UQ12 XUGOL UQ56 OKSET
~25m, FAGG-FACT, DCT GRV UQ49 ESRUK UQ51 GETEN; FACT-FAGG, OKTED UQ12 XUGOL UZ13 GRV
Some local VFR would also be very much appreciated.
