Rob H - 811428 Posted May 30, 2009 Share Posted May 30, 2009 1. Introduction VATPAC is currently seeking applications from members for the position of Director of Division - VATPAC1. The Division Director is responsible for the overall leadership and operation of the Division. The role is to commence when the resignation of the incumbent Division Director takes effect on 01JUL09. Applications will be received and reviewed by an Appointment Committee consisting of: 1. A current VATPAC Director 2. A VATPAC Founder OR member of VATOCE Region 3. A General Member 2. Selection Criteria The Director of Division is responsible for the following: • Set VATPAC strategy, direction and high-level goals • Establish divisional goals, assist directors with planning • Track progress on tasks – ensure all tasks have completion dates and that directors are progressing towards meeting the target dates. • Lead and motivate the VATPAC directors • Monitor progress of Directors and their teams • Monitor performance of Directors against their roles and responsibilities • Schedule and chair quarterly meetings with VATPAC Directors • Co-ordinate Promotion and advertising of VATPAC to attract new members • Communication of VATSIM/VATOCE changes to VATPAC Directors and members • Maintain the Roles and Responsibilities documentation • Director recruitment and ownership of director recruitment policy • Liaise with other Division Directors to maintain inter-division relationships • Inter-divisional transfers • Liaise with VATSIM and VATOCE 3. Time Commitment The estimated time commitment associated with this role is approximately 10 hours per week. 4.
