The new URL is http://www.vatpac.org/moodle.'>http://www.vatpac.org/moodle. All existing user accounts & passwords have been retained. Users should notice a significant increase in speed when accessing the new site. Additionally, the Tower rating module (previously only available to new students) is now available to all VATPAC members. This provides an excellent opportunity for current controllers to use it for refresher training on tower operations. Training materials include diagrams, links to real world documentation and even audio samples to help people become familiar with correct ATC phraseology. Rated controllers: If you would like to access the tower module to brush up on tower operations or clarify specific procedures or terminology, then take the following steps: 1. If you do not already have a Moodle account, visit http://www.vatpac.org/moodle and create an account. 2. Email [email protected] with the subject 'Tower key' to receive the enrollment key for the tower module. Observers/New students: Please follow the instructions on the VATPAC website, under the 'Training Request' link. Since the module is available only to VATPAC members, enrollment is manually controlled to allow vetting of requests. Please direct any questions, comments or feedback to the above email address.
