Rolling Thunder is a major, weekend-long online fly-in held on VATPAC. Around ten controllers setup shop onsite in a mini 'centre' room on location at Bankstown airport to provide coverage for a whole array of events held online over the course of the weekend: Friday 18th through to Sunday 20th of April. For the full program details click here. Here are the final three items on the checklist of pilots joining the event: 1. VOTE! There's still a few hours to go until our poll expires that will decide where we kick off operations on Friday night! Tasmania is currently in front but other locations hot on its heels! Cast your vote now. 2. BOOK! On Saturday and Sunday we're holding not one but TWO of the popular KFC-style events. Pilots are invited to sign up for routes that have been specially designed to conflict with each other to ensure delays and maximum headaches for controllers. Head over to KFC headquarters and sign up now! 3. FLY! Start fuelling up your airplane and get your flight plans ready for a great weekend of busy online flying.
