At 1000 AEDT Monday morning, an unprecedented 6 fixed-base and 1 full-motion sim will depart Sydney for a seven day round the world voyage. As usual we will be featuring: LIVE cockpit video feeds LIVE instrument telemetry FULL ATC 24/7 ALL flight planning done for you We also have a few exciting new features. After some basic trials last year, Jeroen Hoppenbrouwers has produced some new software to enable full FANS/CPDLC interaction with ATC. Rather than free-text as used previously, all the standard CPDLC structured messages and features have been accurately modelled. PDC will also be available via TELEX using the same software package.
