The selection panel received a number of high quality applications and did not have an easy task reaching a final recommendation. However, I am pleased to advise that Shannon Wells has been successful and now takes up the VATPAC2 callsign. Shannon has been involved with VATPAC for a number of years and is well known as the incumbent Director of Events and VA Liaison. He brings significant experience to his new role and we look forward to working with him. Well done Shannon, your service is greatly appreciated. Sincere thanks to all other applicants, we look forward to investigating other ways of working with you. This of course means that the Director of Events and VA Liaison role is now vacant. Criteria and a selection process for that vacancy will shortly be established and advertised here...watch this space.
