At this time, VATPAC is opening the vacant position up to application from interested members of the division. Applications will be received and reviewed by a three-person panel consisting of board, staff and general members who will independently arrive at a final recommendation. The selection criteria/duties associated with this role are as follows: The successful candidate will: Formulate and implement Division-wide Operational policies in collaboration with the other Operations Administrators. Coordinate and direct various Operations Staff group members and projects. Liaise with affiliate organisations to establish operational MOU?s. Monitor real world operational changes and adjust VATPAC policy where appropriate The successful candidate will have/be: Demonstrated interest in and understanding of the Australian and/or New Zealand airways system. Understanding of current VATPAC/VATSIM operational policy. Real world flying/ATC experience is highly regarded, but by no means a prerequisite. A member of VATSIM, assigned to the Oceania - Pacific Division. A team player in good standing with VATPAC.
