Just wanted to provide some excellent ATC feedback for Mark Bernardinis this evening as SYD APP. He was inundated with a lot of traffic in and around the Sydney area, similar with MRM events with no TWR, GND or CTR positions available, as well as with emergency requests from aircraft arriving and departing SYD, including other unidentified aircraft in the area, he handled all scenrios extremely well and very professional. Under no circumstances was he ever distracted by the overwhelming aircraft calling together on radio and also other aircraft calling for clearances ... I was very impressed by his professionalism. Take care of this great man, and a huge congrats to the great trainer as well. I also loved his follow up, especially when leaving his airspace and other aircraft that also called in the backlog of requests and going the extra mile to ensure smoothness in seperation and that all arrivals and departures were perfectly sequenced and communicated and handled well. Amazing ATC ... great example of what VATPAC ATC controlling is all about! Will fly anywhere with this great controller!

Great job @Mark Bernardinis & mentor @Brett Vaughan !!!

To be honest, I am quite speechless at the feedback and no idea what to say. These days you are more likely to hear negative feedback with more positive feedback being put in the too hard basket. I would like to thank whoever spent the time to write that feedback that it actually moved me (I even showed my partner the feedback). I know there were delays in getting aircraft off the ground and I appreciated the patience, so thank you.

Ever since I got back into VATSIM, my original love was of flying. I am now thoroughly enjoying the challenges / learnings of the "other side" of aviation, ATC.

Thanks @Brett Vaughan and @Joshua Micallef for being "very" patient with me during training and my assessment - I am still learning everyday I login to the network. Not a day goes by where I don't have the AIP open in GEN to lookup Phraseology for the obscure cases I come across when I connect.
