What is Pacific Island Link?
Pacific Island Link is a monthly event in which we explore the pacific islands within VATPAC and occasionally within our neighbouring divisions. Also see procedures for local and TMA operations if interested courtesy of @Bailey Brown again!

Hi,

After last weeks very successful Iron Mic at Nouvelle-Calédonie Aéroport de Nouméa - La Tontouta I've decided to chuck up some AIP documents from both Vanuatu and NC. This has some local phraseology included in it as well as some quite cool info which helped us make the environment a lot like the real thing. With the upcoming Pacific Islands event it would the perfect time to put some of this new phraseology to use.

As well as this here are some new altimeter procedures that have been introduced into the New Caledonia sector of the Nadi FIR. For reference of the different TMA Numbers and Trans Levels that would apply please check below.

Happy flying and thanks for all the traffic last week! We hope to see you out in the Pacific Islands soon!
