The Position reports directly to the Oceania Regional Director Chief Flying Instructor role • Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with the VATSIM User Agreement, Code of Conduct, Code of Regulations and Oceania Region values, as outlined above. • Recruit, lead and motivate Pilot Training Staff • Develop and Maintain Pilot Competency schedules for each rating • Ensuring that members undertaking training and assessment are provided with the necessary mentoring and instruction to ensure high standards are met. • Monitor and enforce training staff service currency • Ensure the timely processing of training service requests • Create and Maintain Pilot Training web content • Promote the training of VATSIM pilots at all levels of experience • Conduct periodic reviews and audits to ensure the quality of all VATSIM Oceania pilot training activities. • Support your direct reports and team in engendering a positive team culture.
