    What is Pacific Island Link? Pacific Island Link is a monthly event in which we explore the pacific islands within VATPAC and occasionally within our neighbouring divisions. Each month you can expect to fly routes across Melanesia, Polynesia and on occasion Micronesia. This event for the most part will fall on the first Saturday of each month from 0800z - 1100z and you can expect flight times anywhere from 1.5 hours to 3 hours. This Month (06/07/2019) from 0800z - 1100z: We take this months Pacific Link on a new turn (and a bit closer to home) to Christmas Island, just off the north west coast of Australia The Route: YPCC - YPXM EMVAS G200 XMX YPXM - YPCC TATOD G200 EMVAS PCCNG PCCNI PCCNF PCCNM Aircraft Type: Recommended Aircraft for this event is up to either an A320/B73x/B3xM Charts: Charts for both Coco and Christmas Island can be found Here - Airservices Aus. AIS - DAP Requested ATC Positions: The below positions are what are recommended to provide pilots with ATC Services - However, if these become full, we welcome you to log onto additional positions to provide even more services. This week we invite you to join us in Port Moresby to the holiest and most amazing past Iron Mic award winner Airport Wewak! The Route: AYWK - AYPY WK DCT NZ B586 PY AYPY - AYWK PY B462 KIBAV DCT WK Aircraft Type: Recommended Aircraft for this event is up to either an A320/B73x(737 series)/B3xM(737 Max series) and Prop liners Charts: As it currently stands we have no publicly available charts due to PNG's AIP website being broken, However those that own a Navigraph subscription are more than welcome to use their own charts.
