Hi Guys,
Already asked and answered during beta testing. Essentially the answer was "no, you cannot edit voiceroom or join a private voiceroom" making this client largely useless in regions where a specific voice unicom policy exists (including this one).
When questioned further about building in future functionality the answer was "when VATSIM endorses a voice unicom policy I'll consider it".
If a wider list of users were to ask these questions on the VATSIM forums though it may carry more weight.
I have gone back to FSInn.
That's a bummer. I'm going back to FSINN then. There is really no point to me upgrading anyway because I had already got everything configured with the IVAO MTL pack being assigned correctly (ACID program). Its a good client, but silly they aren't allowing that!

Hi all,
If you aren't aware, the new vPilot client came out for VATSIM this morning. All is well, except that it doesn't allow you to edit the voice room to allow you to use VATPAC voice UNICOM (big bummer). Anyone know a fix around this, or will it just have to be mentioned for a future update?

Interesting. I'm not sure if it is a trait with the Dash 8 series at all (or indeed a Majestic bug), but my Q300 did the exact same thing. I've only had to hold once in the MJC Q300, and it could have been pilot error, but I did have issues getting the aircraft to track the hold sequence. Could definitely be a bug though.

I have had a problem recently when using the PSS 777, I have blurry panels (night and day).
Does anyone know how to fix this?

FlyAero Link has now opened many various regional routes in Australia. Why not go and fly some of these routes in our wonderful modern, new Bombardier Q400 Fleet?
For the event, we will be flying from a selection of 3 regional airfields, and all ending up at Sydney International Airport.
The 3 choices are as follows; Albury (YMAY), Port Macquarie (YPMQ) and Coffs Harbour (YSCH). The routes are not all the same length, but pilots are free to do circuits at Sydney whilst waiting for the other flights.
To make sure we have an even amount of flights from each airport, could you send your departure preference to [email protected].
Also, do not forget to put your name down on the signup sheet.
Final details will be emailed within 3 days before the event. A list of approved a/c to fly include; Saab 340, any Dash 8, any ATR, Jetstream 41 and Embraer 120 Brasilia. See you there!

Shut down at B28 after this week's MRM flight from LC to ML - spiced up with an aircraft having engine failures, and apparently also not being able to follow vectors!
