I don't see how it's complicated. Just normal operational information.
ATIS requirements: AIP GEN 3.3 para 2.7.3 if you're interested.

Port Vila, Vanuatu?

Pretty sure this thread was started as an informal banter. Not sure why some are taking it seriously... :teeth:

I've tried the same thing recently using FSX, following these instructions: http://www.euroscope.hu/mediawiki/index.php?title=Tower_View
However, this morning I received a message from a SUP stating my double connection isn't allowed so I had to disconnect. Is there a way of getting around this?
Cheers,

Does anyone know if there is a recommended scenery list for FSX? I know there's one for FS9...

 I thought I had it tough on 1st solo...door came open on upwind and out flew the maintenance release...let's just say the CFI wasn't happy!! but this takes the cake! Nice job, good luck with PPL and beyond.
P.S. If anyone finds a PA28 maintenance release at the bottom of Chipping Norton Lake let me know :teeth:

Happy to help. Available after 02NOV. PPL, NVFR. 1st language: English.
I also live in Sydney so I may not be of any help if it's in Melbourne.

According to the German Worldflight team, the 2012 routes have already been finalised: http://www.worldflightteam.de/en-us/tour2012.aspx
Can anyone confirm this?

Having a small problem with TS3 at the moment...when I log in and try and access a channel (eg The Lounge) I get a voice saying "Insufficient Permissions". I might of read somewhere that an admin needs to authorise you, but unclear whether that's true.
Could someone clarify that please?
Cheers,
Mitchell

Does anybody know whether it's possible to access the cockpit (ie.sitting in the jumpseat during the flight) by showing the captain your ASIC? Has someone tried it?
Just curious to know...

Thanks Stephen, that worked perfectly.

Hi All,
I have a really unusual problem in FSX
1) Holding ALT to bring down the menu bar results in an invisible menu! When you hold down ALT it shifts down as though the menu bar is there!
2) Right Click (to select the drop-down menu) does not work - again bizzare!
Computer Specs:
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate, 64-Bit
Processor: AMD Phenom II - 3.2GHz
RAM: 8GB
Video Card: ATI Radeon 6670
It was working perfectly one day, and then the next, without installing anything extra ie. scenery, it is not working!!
Anyone got a clue as to what's going on?
Regards,
Mitch

Thanks Greg, just installed CleanMem then. I'm with Trent though, time to load up some more RAM!

Thanks guys, tried running Windows in "classic" mode - as instructed to do from microsoft. Looks like extra RAM is the way to go

I have been recently getting the warning (as of installing FTX) "Your computer has run out of available memory". It doesn't come up when I start FSX but when I chose to fly the message will come up in every flight - i.e boarding, cruising or landing etc.
Also, I know my computer hasn't actually run out of space because the C drive shows 787GB free of 931GB.
Has anyone ever come across this problem, and if so what can be done to stop FSX crashing every flight?
Any ideas/knowledge would be greatly appreciated!!

Small problem with SquawkBox...
Whenever I press to transmit, a loud beep/buzzer sound is heard. Is there a way around this as personally I find it quite annoying.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Just wondering if it is possible to conduct ILS PRM Approaches online…I understand that there is a lack of resources such as the suitable technology and an actual PRM Controller however can it still be done?
Found an interesting video from AA describing it in the Qantas 747 sim: http://www.airservicesaustralia.com/projectsservices/projects/prm/changesprm.asp

It wouldn't be the only instance of deviations from the AIP at YSSY. Off topic, but most noticeably their approach radar service of clearing aircraft for ILS approaches. I don't think i've ever heard 'PTAC' used. As always they must have their reasons.
