[VATPAX - Does it work?]

Hi there, back with a minor issue for investigation. I’ve flown a few flights and it’s working ok on keeping track of my flights, I can see recent history as per screen shot,  but the leaderboard doesn’t seem to know me? I went to the bottom and worked backwards, unless I’m missing something I should show up??

Ok, testing time....

Selected to fly to YBBN in a B738. 

Flight plan filed with only /PAXON in the remarks. (Pic)

Flight plan filed at approx 2048 (AEDST - Sydney)

 

Started Xplane. 

Logged onto VATSIM in Darwin.  (Pic)

Now refreshing VATPAX site. (Chrome and using <Ctrl>  and R to  refresh.

Voila!  Refreshed at 20:56 and I’m there! 

 

Ive cancelled the flight plan and logged off to complete the test cycle at about 20:00.

 

I’ll use /PAXON for my first full flight cycle. 

I’ll be doing some flight planning for a future flight to move those pax about. 

So thanks for the attention to this, really appreciated.

Can you try logging onto an airport with passengers, submit a flight plan with only /PAXON in the remarks and wait for 10-15 minutes. If you don't show up at all, it would indicate that the system is unable to detect you and add you to the database of pilots who's flights are recorded. If this is the case, we won't be able to look into it until access to the code is granted to the incoming I.T Director. It could be a while before there is time to look at VATPAX though. 

Let me know if that works. Once you show up once, you should always show up regardless of whether there are passengers or not.

Hi, appreciate a consult if I’m doing anything wrong, as opposed to the general problem symptoms please? 

There were a few pax at Ballina, I’ve aligned the B738, from flight plan logged to logging onto vatsim. ive been studying on pilots who work and their flight plan/on line presence. 

Im a windows based, xplane11, using Zibo mod, but tried a 747 from YMAY (mirroring a flight from DRW) at the time. I file my plan, then Lon onto VATSIM while I set up my FMC, so I think I’m allowing plenty of time and not logging off for about 15mins post landing.

Appreciate a view if I’m missing anything please?  I’m also happy to be on line and test with backend folks if that helps the problem space.
