Yep using VATSys with updates etc. it has previously worked, but now doesn’t show me as being a recognised callsign.
Thanks for the point out. I find it extremely hard to find any assistance on Discord as it’s a scrolling chat, not a topic orientated library.

Guessing this forum is no longer supported?
What is the preferred method to obtain help?

Hi all,
I know it will be human error, however I’ve tried logging on as TRT and seem to have everything working in ES, but on VatSpy and others my connection isnt recognised as an enroute control area.
Any suggestions?

Any events or airspace restrictions online for the current high level Military Air Activity?

I am sure I speak for the VATPAC community when I say thank you to the board and the members who dedicate (unpaid) time and effort towards our VATSIM experience on this International Volunteer Day. To all the helpers, the scenery creators, the aircraft painters, the Operations staff, everyone who has put in time for others benefit.

Anybody seen a repaint of EPR, XCY or LSY for the Cera Sim B412ep?
-
Ok, I’ll give it another go as ServInfo is my preferred app, and it really seems to be stuffed up at the moment.

With the sector name/frequency changes will we be updating the ‘who’s online’ clients such as VatSpy and ServInfo?
If we have, I apologise I can’t see them posted.
I started messing with the ServInfo data file but got mixed up.

Has anyone got info on the exact location of the new NSW police Air Command facility? I think it’s on the end of Drover Road, but not sure as it must have reclaimed a taxiway if it is.
Second what is the latest version Flukey has done for YSBK? Does it have the police facility opened last year?
thanks.

Anyone who thinks they may wish to open ZAK at some point should consider applying to be a visitor at Oakland ARTCC to avoid having to be re-trained by VATUSA.

On a related note, the new policy officially recognises our Procedural Tower Endorsement as "Restricted Aerosromes/Airspace" so that is a bonus for us
Isn't there a fairly low quantity of what can be Restricted? Percentage based.

Do it Chris. VATSys is a bit of a learning curve for me compared to VRC. Starting out slowly and trying not to upset too many pilots.
-
Ah ok. Can it be fixed?

I think they are broken

Yer, when I was VATPAC4, we put it out as a challenge to the community in order to promote togetherness and increase atc levels in the region. I reckon a 10% atc hours for anyone is good target.
It allows pilots to get a better idea of what happens on the other side.
Great to see people signing up for atc Lak! I encourage everyone to give it a go, and give a little bit of time back to our community.

Tracy, I’ve applied twice with no result. It is my understanding I don’t need to see the comments assigned against my account if I had access.
Totally agree with that though. We should all offer our services.

When I first started at VATPAC I set myself a goal of trying to give (ATC) at least 10% of my online time. Sadly this has lapsed over the last few years, for several reasons.
However, after hitting the 10K pilot hours, I decided it’s time to work on getting the giving to the community back to 10%.
So, please, if during my reintro to providing services I don’t get it right or acceptable let me know. Only way I learn is if someone tells me where to fix it up. VATSys looks scary, but I’ll start up Northern Australia until I get the basics on the program. I’ve never been a high intensity controller, so let’s smile and accept people who try.

I may be completely off with this, but I thought we had re-assigned CVN to be a subsector of DOS. The charts on our Airspace pages still have CVN as a subsector of MDE.
It was announced on 25 May 2018 as part of AIRAC 1806. Did it revert back again?

I setup and flew an hour before the starting time, and went to web site to confirm time date etc. I only use the events calendar these days. There were three events at 2300 utc, but when I again checked around 0001 utc there were just two events on the calendar.
All good, I probably keep targeting the minor events with lower attendances.

The ANZAC cove event was on the events calendar right up to one hour before it was due to start, then disappeared. We used to have a policy years ago that if an event made it into the calendar it remained i.e. no cancellation policy (without exceptional circumstances).

Has anyone seen a livery for ULD? Preferably for a P3Dv4 install.

Are you suggesting that people who elect to follow, promote and educate about the rules are fools?
No, not at all. It is a saying which I have even heard Judges say in court.
The saying is well documented and contemporary. It goes to the very nature of a civil society Kirk. Heaven help the 95% of the population who have made a mistake in their lives, if the rule of law was indeed strict!
As you mention I have always tried to assist as best I can, I am not by any means a saint, but I do agree with the Westminster system of law. There is a huge difference between my quoted statement and Anarchy and belligerence. Sorry we again have to disagree by the looks.

Well done. Always great to achieve a challenge. What time of the day for the twenty days in a row? I’m not a top shelf vATCO, but I can meet the baseline standard. I’d be happy to assist where possible.
