[World Flight 2016 - VATPAC ATC Roster]

Great event all. Great ATC from the perspective of flying and of controlling. First time doing either for the last month or so and what a better way to jup back in but the deep end.

[Taroom Airport]

Hey

 

I have been working on scenery for Taroom Airport (YTAM/XTO) for a little while, it is my first scenery I have done. It is located in central queensland near a town called Taroom. It has 2 runways, 08-26 is a grass cross runway that is 1091M long and 12-30, which is a clay runway at 1100 long. 12-30 has LIRL (Low Intensity Runway Lighting) along the edges and the apron has blue edge lighting.

 

Skytrans fly in here with charter flights for QGC and the Royal Flying Doctor Service fly in there as well when needed. I would really appreciate any feedback, positive, negative, it doesnt matter. Any problems with the scenery, framerate hits (if any) and anything else that effects the scenery. It uses satalite images as the background, which are very dull due to the quality of the satalite images.

 

To install just move the YTAM folder into your addon scenery folder, and add manually as you would any other scenery.

[Model matching dissapearing]

Hey

 

My Model matching AI traffic disappear while connected to VATSIM. It happens with Vpilot and FSINN. The aircraft still show when I right click and go to Air traffic and as the correct aircraft, however the models do not show. The nav, beacon and strobe lights are the only part of the aircraft that show. I use ORBX FTX AI traffic pack and World of AI for Vpilot and for FSINN have close to 8500 models including VAIP. It most often occurs with all 737, but it does do it to all aircraft often as well. Any help would be appreciated.
