VATPAC is seeking expressions of interest from potential candidates to join the Events team as Event Coordinator(s). Title: Event Coordinator Responsible to: Director of Events Deputy Director of Events Deputy Director Special Events Duties: Work within a team to organize, promote and execute VATPAC Events. Develops relationships with other divisions' and organizations' event staff to arrange support for VATPAC events as well as provide support for their events. Liaises with operations staff for coordination of online ATC support of VATPAC events. Assist with Maintenance of the VATPAC Events webpage(s). Assist with promotion of VATPAC events to social media sites such as VATSIM Forums, Vroute events, VATTASTIC Event, VATPAC, VATOCE and VATPAC social media pages. Maintains an online presence of minimum 10 hours per month on the VATSIM network. Allows ~5-10 hours dedicated to staff duties each month. Criteria: Be a member of the VATPAC Division of VATSIM for a period of at least 6 months. Be a member of good standing in VATSIM/VATPAC for at least 12 months at the time of application. ATC experience is helpful, but not mandatory in organizing and facilitating events. Be able to work well with other VATPAC Staff members as a whole. Have the ability to maintain focus and organization over the long run. Be able to work well within a voluntary organization. Where to apply?
