What is Pacific Island Link?
Pacific Island Link is a monthly event in which we explore the pacific islands within VATPAC and occasionally within our neighbouring divisions. Each month you can expect to fly routes across Melanesia, Polynesia and on occasion Micronesia. This event for the most part will fall on the first Saturday of each month from 0800z - 1100z and you can expect flight times anywhere from 1.5 hours to 3 hours.

This Month (06/07/2019) from 0800z - 1100z:
 

We take this months Pacific Link on a new turn (and a bit closer to home) to Christmas Island, just off the north west coast of Australia

The below positions are what are recommended to provide pilots with ATC Services - However, if these become full, we welcome you to log onto additional positions to provide even more services.

Note: Christmas Island and Cocos Keeling are uncontrolled Aerodromes,

However, People are welcome to fly from Broom or Karratha and ATC will most likely follow from there
