This Weeks Flight for Wednesday 21st February 2024 finds us in United Kingdom following the A1 Highway from Stapleford (EGSG) to Sherburn-In-Elmet (EGCJ) with discretionary T&G at Peterborough Conington (EGSF).
The A1 is the main highway in UK joining London with Edinburgh. It is commonly called the Great North Road
Depart Stapleford and follow M25 to Bignells Corner and join the A1(M) which joins A1 going north. The route will on occasion depart from the highway to avoid such airspaces as Luton Airport (stay below 2500) and some RAF bases.
