This Weeks Flight for Wednesday 12th October 2022 takes us to the Greek island of Crete most famous for the 3,500 year old city of Knossos and King Minos and the Minotaur. We depart from Sitia at the eastern end of the island, follow route 90 to the capital Herklion then south via route 97 across the island to the coastal town of Tympaki (along this leg you will see to the west Crete's highest peak Mt Ida at 2,456m). We follow the coast west to Hora Sfakion then take the road north across the island arriving at Chania, Crete's second Int'l Airport.
