This Weeks Flight for Wednesday 7th September 2022 concludes a four leg trip in Alaska following the route of the famous Iditarod Dog Sled race commencing (March 2022) at Anchorage (PANC) and concludes at Nome. This final leg resumes at Unalakleet (PAUN) and will finish at Nome (PAOM) which is the race finish line. The flight plan provided is a general route linking supply line airfields; the sleds have to go around the higher mountains.

Scenery: Due to the plethora of flight sim programs now in use scenery is at the discretion of each pilot. If you can it would be interesting to fly this tour in partial snow.

Aircraft: Capable of 150kias is recommended. Kodiak, Twotter, Cessna Caravan or the like

Comms: Tune Radio to 122.80MHz - Unless Advised by ATC or further detailed hereunder
