This Weeks Flight on 6th October 2021 concludes a 5 leg flight following the rivers Danube, Main (canal) and Rhine from Budapest Hungary to Lelystad (East of Amsterdam, Holland). The flight is based upon a scenic river cruise completed some years ago by the flight author.
This final Leg 5 departs Koblenz (EDRK and follows the River Rhine to the border with the Netherlands where the river splits into two rivers at Millingen aan de Rijn, the larger River Waal and the smaller Nederrijn (Dutch Rhine) and will arrive at Lelystad (EHLE) to the east of Amsterdam.
