This Weeks Flight on 6th January 2021 is our first flight for 2021 (Happy New Year to all) and continues a series of flights following the inland waterways from Saint Lawrence River thru to Lake Ontario, Lake Erie, Lake Huron and Lake Superior.

This flight commences at Wiarton (CYVV) on the Canadian side of Lake Huron and continues on the Canadian side to Sault Ste Marie (CYAM) at the southern end of Lake Superior where the Soo Locks are situated enabling ships up to 72,000 tonne to enter Lake Superior. It is of interest (to me anyway) to note that the flow of water is from West to East so we are flying against the tide so to speak.

Flight suggested by Dan McKee YMA555

Scenery Suggested: Due to the plethora of simulation platforms now being used scenery is left to the discretion of each pilot.

Aircraft Suggested: Any GA capable of 160kias

Comms: Unicom 122.80 unless instructed by ATC

Weather: Real time weather, fair weather if conditions are not suitable.
